Hello! I am Reeya, a 28-year-old English tutor based in London. I attended Cambridge and University College London, where I obtained a BA in History. I specialise in 11+, KS3 and GCSE English. I have a strong track record of helping students make significant academic progress, including supporting students in moving from Grades 3/4 to Grades 8/9 at GCSE. My teaching style is structured and interactive, with a particular focus on identifying each student’s individual weak points and turning these into strengths. I take a clear, formulaic approach to English, breaking down reading, analysis and writing skills into methods that students can understand, remember and confidently apply in exams. Lessons are tailored to what each student is learning at school, while also addressing any gaps in their knowledge. I provide personalised resources, worksheets and homework where appropriate. I always go above and beyond to support my students, but most importantly, I want lessons to be fun and engaging. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to build their confidence and help them genuinely enjoy English.
