Hi there, my name is Megan and I am an experienced and dedicated educator with a passion for shaping young minds. With six years of teaching experience, including four years in Year 4 and two years in Year 5, I bring a wealth of expertise to the classroom. I have also led a School Council, instilling the values of responsibility and leadership in students. When teaching, I ensure that creativity shines through in both the input and output of lessons, that they are engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of students in any class. I have strong behavior management and am consistent in making sure the children know what to expect at the beginning of the day and throughout the day. I am skilled at using a variety of strategies to ensure a calm and safe environment. I enjoying planning meaningful lessons which follow a clear learning journey. Additionally, I am able to use a variety of tools such as colour semantics, SEN activities to cater to the need of individual children.
