I am an experienced Maths and English tutor with a genuine passion for helping young children thrive, particularly those in primary education. I believe these early years are incredibly important in building not only strong academic foundations, but also the confidence, curiosity and independence children need as they grow.
I hold a degree in Social Science from Kingston University and currently work as a Science Professor for after-school clubs, where I enjoy creating engaging and enjoyable learning experiences for children. I am always looking for new and creative ways to explain concepts, solve problems and make learning feel exciting rather than overwhelming.
My approach is calm, patient and encouraging. I take the time to understand how each child learns best and adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs. Whether a child needs support with their Maths, English, confidence, or simply a little extra encouragement, my aim is to help them feel capable and proud of their progress.
As a mother of three children myself, I also understand the importance of patience, consistency and positive encouragement when working with young learners. I know that every child is different, and I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and understood.
I am organised, reliable, committed and enthusiastic about helping children reach their potential. My goal is to create a fun and positive learning environment where children can develop their skills while enjoying the learning process.
Most importantly, I want parents to feel confident that they have chosen the right tutor for their child — someone who genuinely cares about their progress, celebrates their achievements and is committed to helping them grow both academically and personally.
